Configuring Cookie Creation

Even though the whole process can work without any further intervention, framework allows you to fine tune cookie creation via <cookies> tag @ stdout.xml. Once set, these settings will apply to any cookie set by project!

Reading and Writing Cookies

Framework uses STDOUT MVC API to encapsulate all session operations via Lucinda\STDOUT\Cookies. Latter defines following methods relevant for developers:

set(NAME, VALUE, EXPIRATION): sets cookie by name and value, based on <cookies> settings if present
get(NAME): gets value of cookie by name
contains(NAME): checks if cookie exists by name
remove(NAME): removes cookie by name
